Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport where you will be met by your guide and driver. Transfer to the Ramada Netanya hotel for dinner and overnight.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2022
We begin our tour at Caesarea Maritima, the ancient Herodian port where Peter brought the gospel message to Cornelius. Paul was also imprisoned in Caesarea before being taken to Rome for trial. We’ll also see Mt. Carmel (Muchracah) where Elijah fought the prophets of Baal and Megiddo, the ancient Tel in the Jezreel Valley where many layers of Biblical history are present. Late in the afternoon, we’ll visit the Mt. Of Precipice overlooking Nazareth and Cana before arriving at the Nof Ginosar Sea of Galilee hotel for the night.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2022
Tuesday’s tour will begin with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee where Jesus walked and His disciples fished. We will also visit the First Century Boat Museum to see the remains of a fishing boat from the time of Jesus; the Mt. Of Beatitudes overlooking the Galilee region where it is believed Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount; Capernaum, Peter’s home town and the location of the ruins of Peter’s house and an ancient synagogue; Magdala, Mary Magdalene’s village located on the shores of the lake. Our day will conclude with a visit of the baptismal site on the Jordan River called Yardenit before arriving at the Nof Ginosar Sea of Galilee hotel for the night. Today’s tour includes a special lunch at St. Peter’s Fish.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2022
Israel’s northern border with Lebanon awaits us on Wednesday. We’ll see the head-springs of the Jordan River at Tel Dan, an ancient town of the tribe of Dan. This town contains ancient city gates, one of which mentions Abraham. We will also visit the Banias (Caesarea Philippi) Nature Reserve below Mt. Hermon. Here, Peter recognized Jesus as the Messiah. Our day will conclude with a visit to Tabgha and Kursi before arriving at the Nof Ginosar Sea of Galilee hotel for the night.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2022
This morning, we will travel south through the Jordan River Valley. Our first stop is the ruins of Beth She’an, an ancient Roman city of the Decapolis near Mt. Gilboa. Saul and Jonathan were killed in battle near here. Our tour will continue south past Jericho to the site of Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. We will end our day by checking into the Hod Dead Sea hotel with enough time to enjoy the hotel spa and swim in the medicinal waters of the Dead Sea.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2022
Friday morning, we will ascend to Masada, a Herodian fortress where Jewish rebels held out against the forces of Rome in 73 and 74 AD. After, we will continue to the oasis of Ein Gedi where David hid from Saul. We’ll travel through the Judean wilderness and past the Inn of the Good Samaritan. We’ll conclude our day by viewing Jerusalem from the Mt. Of Olives and walk the Palm Sunday Path to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed, “Not my will, but Yours be done” and was arrested. We’ll end our day by checking into the Dan Panorama Jerusalem hotel.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2022
Our tour today will begin by following the way of Jesus’ suffering along the Way of the Cross. We will enter the Old City via the Lion’s Gate and visit the Pools of Bethesda, the “House of Grace” where Jesus’ grandmother Anne lived, and the Sheep’s Gate where Jesus healed the man born lame on the Sabbath. We also will continue along the Way of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) through the Old City where you will have free time to explore and shop in the Old City Market. Next, we will stop by the House of Caiaphas (St. Peter’s of Gallicantu) where Peter denied Jesus before visiting Golgotha and the Garden Tomb for communion before arriving at the Dan Panorama Jerusalem hotel for the night.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2022
Sunday takes us to the “New City.” We’ll begin with a somber visit to Yad Vashem, Israel’s memorial to the more than six million victims of the Holocaust. Next, we’ll visit the Israel Museum and the Second Temple Era model of Jerusalem, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and Israel’s parliament: the Knesset. In the late afternoon, we’ll either view or visit Bethlehem to remember the story of Naomi and Ruth, King David, and the birth place of Jesus the Messiah. Our evening will conclude at the Dan Panorama Jerusalem hotel for the night.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2022
On our last day in Israel, we will make a return visit to the Old City portion of Jerusalem to see the archaeological site of the City of David. We’ll continue up to Mt. Zion and enter the Old City via the Zion Gate in order to visit sites in the Jewish Quarter including the Cardo and Herodian era ruins, the Southern Steps of the Temple, and the Western Wall. Our day will conclude with a Middle Eastern dinner at Naurah in Abu Ghosh before returning to the airport for the flight home.
