Jerusalem Temple Model
Israel Museum
This model is of the Second Temple period and depicts the city of Jerusalem during that time. The model measure approximately 11,000 square feet (1,000 square meters) in size and was created by Professor Avi-Yonah who specializes in ancient Jerusalem. It was moved to the museum in 2006 from the Holy Land Hotel grounds in Jerusalem's Bayit Vegan neighborhood
