Tabgha is located at the bottom of the Mount of Beatitudes as is remembered for being the location where Jesus performed the feeding of the five thousand (Mark 6:33-44).
Today, the Church of the Beatitudes sits nearby on the site where Jesus may have preached the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7). This church was constructed in the 1930s.
